Lent services

3rd in Lent – Sunday 24th March at 11am – morning service with young church and crèche. Lead by Rev Kevin de Beer.

4th in Lent – Sunday 31st March at 11am – morning service and Mothering Sunday with young church and crèche. Lead by Rev de Beer.

5th in Lent – Sunday 7th April at 11am – morning service with young church and crèche. Lead by Rev de Beer.

Easter and Holy Week Services 2019

Sunday 14th April at 11.00am Palm Sunday at Bellshill Central Parish Church followed by Hot Cross Buns in the hall.

Monday 15th April at 7.00pm Excepts from The Crucifixion at Bellshill Central Parish Church with singers from Central and West choirs and guests. All welcome to this reflective musical meditation with spoken narrative

Wednesday 17th to Friday 19th April at 7.00pm in Living Waters Church joint worship for all Bellshill Churches led by local clergy.

Sunday 21st April Easter Sunday at Bellshill Central Parish Church with the early outdoor service at 9.00am followed by breakfast and All Age worship with Communion at 11.00am.

The First Week of Lent

Thursday

Lord, I’m not always eager to do your will. I’d often much rather do my own will. Please be with me on this Lenten journey and help me to remember that your own spirit can guide me in the right direction. I want to ‘fix’ my weaknesses but the task seems overwhelming. But I know that with your help, anything can be done. With a grateful heart, I acknowledge your love and know that without you, I can do nothing.

The First Week of Lent
Wednesday

Dear Lord,
I know you receive what is in my heart.
Let me be inspired by your words
and by the actions of your son, Jesus.
Guide me to make sacrifices this Lent
in the spirit of self-denial
and with greater attention to you
and to those around me.
Help me to believe that you will grant me this
because of the sacrifice Jesus made for me.
