Holy Saturday prayer

God of the Cross,
As we remember Good Friday, such a solemn day, we pause in the shadow of Your love.
We remember Jesus, who held nothing back,
who carried our sorrow, our fear, and our brokenness.

In this quiet moment, we hold before You all who are recently bereaved.
Surround them with Your tenderness.
Steady them when the days feel long.
Let them know they are not alone.

As we stand at the foot of the cross,
give us courage to trust Your goodness,
even in the darkness,
and hope to wait for the dawn of Easter light.

Amen.

Maundy Thursday Communion

You Are Invited: Maundy Thursday Communion at Bellshill Central

As we journey through Holy Week, we warmly invite you to join us for a meaningful and reflective Maundy Thursday Communion Service at 7:00pm in Bellshill Central Parish Church.

This special service will be led by Revd Margaret ES Rose and offers a sacred space to pause, reflect, and remember the events of the Last Supper—when Jesus gathered with his disciples, shared bread and wine, and gave the commandment to love one another.

Maundy Thursday invites us into a story of humility, service, and deep love. Through scripture, prayer, and communion, we will reflect on Christ’s example and prepare our hearts for the journey toward Good Friday and the hope of Easter.

Whether you are a regular member of our congregation or someone looking for a place to reflect during this holy season, you are very welcome.
