Weekly news and what’s on at BCPC

Sunday worship on Sunday 7th April will be held at Bellshill Central Parish Church, 346 Main Street, Bellshill,  ML4 1BA.

We gather at 11am for our morning service led by our Organist and Choir for Easter Lessons and Carols. Activities for young folks available during the Spring School holidays for any young folks that come along with you.

Tea and Coffee are served after the service and we hope everyone can stay behind and come to the hall for further fellowship.

The service will be lived streamed via http://www.facebook.com/bellshillchurch. The livestream is later edited and uploaded to our YouTube channel http://www.youtube.com/bellshillchurch

Thank you to everyone who participated in our two Easter services. Our garden service was thoughtful and reflective and led by our Church Prayer group. We began to decorate the easter cross. We then shared in breakfast in the hall afterwards, before our 11am All Age Service got underway. The Easter Cross was decorated further as other worshippers came along.

The Spring edition of the Church magazine is still available to download online https://bellshillcentral.church/2024/02/25/bcpc-spring-chronicle-2024/

HOPE FOR AUTISM NORTH LANARKSHIRE

During March Hope for Autism, hosted their interactive Dungeons and Dragons sessions in our hall.

They were such a success that new groups are meeting on Wednesdays from 10:00 – 13:00 from the 24th of April til the 12th of July; and on Monday’s from 16:00 – 22:00, from the 22nd of April til the 10th of July.

HOLY WEEK SERVICES and events we’re held in the church but of particular note was the showing of the 1973 film ‘Jesus Christ Superstar’ and our Maundy Thursday Communion led by Rev Margaret Rose,  BD.

The Communion service was intimate and meaningful. The film allowed those present to relive the events of the passion.
