Welcome to your Church in Bellshill

Bellshill: Central Parish Church – we’re definitely still here and definitely still open, and we’d love to see you. Whether you were here not long ago or haven’t been for a long while, you will be guaranteed a warm welcome. we’re a growing church, and we’d love for you to be a part of it.

Sunday worship on 5th October 2025 will be held at BELLSHILL: CENTRAL PARISH CHURCH, 346 Main Street, Bellshill, ML4 1BA.

We gather at 11am for our morning service, which is led by members of our Church Family. This is our HARVEST CELEBRATION SERVICE, and you are invited to bring along non perishable items for the Orbiston Neighbourhood Centre. Whenever the church if open this week (see below) you are invited to drop off items for the Harvest Donations in the kitchen area. It will be added to that already received and to things that will be donated on Sunday.

Young Church (Sunday School and Creche) activities for young folks are available during the service for any young folks that come along with you. An interactive all age talk takes place before the activities begin. Children are welcome to gather in the church with their parents. Step free access is available via the side path, disabled toilet facilities. Baby changing is available.  

Our service will be livestreamed via http://www.youtube.com/bellshillchurch if you’re not able to come along in person.

HARVEST LUNCH: takes place on Sunday 5th October after the service. It is a “Soup and Pud” lunch. Tickets can be bought on the day, or by emailing bookings@bellshillcentral.church. All are welcome to join your Church Family in Bellshill over a shared meal and fellowship!

PET CELEBRATION SERVICE: takes place on Sunday 12th October at 3pm in the Hall during Café Church. The service is fun and interactive. Tea/Coffee and juice is available. Please do come along and bring your 4 legged friends with you. If you are a pet owner, a pet “auntie” or “uncle” of have a love of animals you are very warmly invited.

BIG SING SERVICE: takes place at Newarthill & Carfin Parish Church in the evening of 12th October, with the Choirs of both Bellshill: Central and Newarthill & Carfin. There will be favourite hymns, rousing music, good company and fellowship. We warmly invite you to come along. BLYTHSWOOD SHOEBOX APPEAL 2025 – Once again, we are coordinating shoeboxes for the appeal. We have leaflets and checklists available at church, along with some spare shoeboxes. If you want more info on this annual appeal and how you can help, please see Jayne Anderson in the choir. The deadline, whilst not confirmed, is looming. If you want to contribute please bring your shoebox in the next few weeks.

  • Saturday 10am-11am Church open for Harvest Donations
  • Sunday 11am Morning worship with HARVEST CELEBRATION, Followed by Harvest Lunch in the Hall. Young Church meets as usual.

HOPE FOR AUTISM NORTH LANARKSHIRE – sessions with Hope for Autism meet weekly. Sessions are Mondays at 7 pm and Wednesdays at 10am. Please do pass the word around for all young adults who might benefit from HOPE FOR AUTISM support HOPE@hopeforautism.org.uk or Phone: 01236 779 191

Each week, we collect non-perishable food items, cleaning products, and toiletries for the Orbiston Neighbourhood Centre’s Community Fridge Initiative. You can drop off items anytime we are open or bring them along on Sunday mornings.
