Bellshill Central Hosts Pancake Day Fundraiser in Support of HOPE for Autism

Bellshill Central Parish Church is inviting the whole community to enjoy a delicious and meaningful Shrove Tuesday celebration on Tuesday 17th February, with a special Pancake Day fundraiser running from 11am to 1pm.

The event, held in the church at 346 Main Street, Bellshill, promises a welcoming atmosphere filled with fresh pancakes, friendly faces, and the chance to support a vital local cause. All donations received on the day will go directly to HOPE for Autism, a Lanarkshire-based organisation providing support, advocacy, and opportunities for autistic children, young people, and their families.

Shrove Tuesday—traditionally a day of sharing food and community—has long been a favourite date in the church calendar, and Bellshill Central is delighted to continue the tradition. Visitors can expect a relaxed drop‑in event suitable for all ages, whether they’re popping in on their lunch break or making a morning of it with family and friends.

Organisers hope the combination of good food and good company will help raise both funds and awareness for HOPE for Autism’s ongoing work across the region.

Everyone is warmly encouraged to come along, enjoy a plate of pancakes, and support a charity making a real difference in the lives of local families.
