As the Church of Scotland in Bellshill we extend a warm welcome to any of our activities. People have been coming to this building to worship God for over a hundred years. While our town has journeyed through many changes over those years, the constancy of the witness of the “Church at 346 Main Street” has remained uninterrupted. The mission of any Church is to reflect through its presence, its music, its fellowship and its beauty the greatness of God, and we seek to do that here in all that we share.
We hope that everyone who enters these doors will find an encouraging, friendly group of people. While we are far from perfect, we are regularly discovering truths that are changing us individually and enriching our lives as a church community. As we worship together, learn from the Bible, and pray for one another, we are strengthened in our commitment to Jesus Christ as well as to each other. If this is your first time here, we welcome you, and invite you to share the joy that we have found.

Sunday worship on 26th October 2025 will be held at BELLSHILL: CENTRAL PARISH CHURCH, 346 Main Street, Bellshill, ML4 1BA.
We gather at 11am for our morning service, which is led by our minister, the Revd Margaret ES Rose, BD.
This is a service that includes Holy Baptism, to which all are invited.
Young Church (Sunday School and Creche) activities for young folks are available during the service for any young folks that come along with you. An interactive all age talk takes place before the activities begin. Children are welcome to gather in the church with their parents.
Step free access is available via the side path, disabled toilet facilities. Baby changing is available.
BLYTHSWOOD SHOEBOX APPEAL 2025 – Once again, we are coordinating shoeboxes for the appeal. We have leaflets and checklists available at church, along with some spare shoeboxes. If you want more info on this annual appeal and how you can help, please see Jayne Anderson in the choir. The deadline is Sunday, 26th October, so please make sure your shoebox is brought to church in time.

REMEMBRANCE SUNDAY – town centre cenotaph act of Remembrance is led by our minister, Revd Margaret Rose. Those parading should assemble at 10.15am at the Cadet Hall. The town centre worship service take place at 11.30am here at Bellshill Central Church. All are invited to this service of worship and Remembrance
CLOTHES SHOW at Bellshill Central takes place on Monday 10th November at 7pm and tickets are on sale from Anne Guy, or available to buy on the door on the night. Our world famous tea and goodies will be available.
HOPE FOR AUTISM NORTH LANARKSHIRE – sessions with Hope for Autism meet weekly. Sessions are Mondays at 7 pm and Wednesdays at 10am. Please do pass the word around for all young adults who might benefit from HOPE FOR AUTISM support HOPE@hopeforautism.org.uk or Phone: 01236 779 191

Each week, we collect non-perishable food items, cleaning products, and toiletries for the Orbiston Neighbourhood Centre’s Community Fridge Initiative. You can drop off items anytime we are open or bring them along on Sunday mornings.
