MORNING WORSHIP
Our Sunday morning broadcast starts at 1045am, with the usual news screens, please watch them as they do change each week! Mistakes “might” be fixed and things updated.
A reminder that today is Young Church Service, with the prizes and where we give thanks for young people and also remember Father’s Day.
The links to our service is here
- Church site https://bellshillcentral.church/watch-live/
- YouTube https://youtu.be/6SJSPJ4RpGs
The YouTube link has a live chat so would be good to hear from you the chat
Attached is the e-news – it will be emailed out by the website to those who follow it, apologies if you get it twice! But better twice than not at all! Please have a read through it. We’ve included the opening prayer and ask you to join in with it.
One the live stream is over, it gets uploaded to YouTube and the YouTube link above will work for catch up, if you miss it live
Please share with folks that the service can now be listened to over the telephone by calling 01698 533211.
It is a local rate number, and might even be free on call plans. It is available all the time. Each Sunday morning it is updated with the most recent service. Ideal for those who are not online.
PRAYER
At 7pm we ask you to join in prayer with Christians across the UK once more. Light a candle in your window letting Gods Love and Light shine forth into the darkness.
The prayer we will pray together is:
Faithful God, we thank you
That you are present with us now
As we share in the life of the Risen Christ.
Continue to be present with us we ask.
Lord, in your mercy,
Hear our prayer.
God who inspires faith, we thank you
That you have been with us
In times of anxiety and uncertainty.
Keep watch over our memories of the past.
Lord, in your mercy,
Hear our prayer.
Faithful God, we thank you
That you will be with us
In the days that are to come.
Journey with us in the days that lie before us.
Lord, in your mercy,
Hear our prayer.
God who inspires faith, we thank you
For the life of your Son
Who for our sakes embraced human form.
May his life shape our lives in these present times.
Lord, in your mercy,
Hear our prayer.
Faithful God, we thank you
For the reassurance that you are merciful and gracious
And that your love abounds.
In your compassion, remember us and those whom we love.
Lord, in your mercy,
Hear our prayer.
God who inspires faith, we thank you
For the knowledge that you will be with us
In all that we now face.
Go before us and provide for us we ask.
Lord, in your mercy,
Hear our prayer.

A Psalm a Day – Psalm 63
Psalm 63 The Message (MSG)

A David Psalm, When He Was out in the Judean Wilderness
63 God—you’re my God!
I can’t get enough of you!
I’ve worked up such hunger and thirst for God,
traveling across dry and weary deserts.
2-4 So here I am in the place of worship, eyes open,
drinking in your strength and glory.
In your generous love I am really living at last!
My lips brim praises like fountains.
I bless you every time I take a breath;
My arms wave like banners of praise to you.
5-8 I eat my fill of prime rib and gravy;
I smack my lips. It’s time to shout praises!
If I’m sleepless at midnight,
I spend the hours in grateful reflection.
Because you’ve always stood up for me,
I’m free to run and play.
I hold on to you for dear life,
and you hold me steady as a post.
9-11 Those who are out to get me are marked for doom,
marked for death, bound for hell.
They’ll die violent deaths;
jackals will tear them limb from limb.
But the king is glad in God;
his true friends spread the joy,
While small-minded gossips
are gagged for good.
A Psalm a Day – Psalm 62
Psalm 62 Good News Translation (GNT)

62 I wait patiently for God to save me;
I depend on him alone.
2 He alone protects and saves me;
he is my defender,
and I shall never be defeated.
3 How much longer will all of you attack someone
who is no stronger than a broken-down fence?
4 You only want to bring him down from his place of honor;
you take pleasure in lies.
You speak words of blessing,
but in your heart you curse him.
5 I depend on God alone;
I put my hope in him.
6 He alone protects and saves me;
he is my defender,
and I shall never be defeated.
7 My salvation and honor depend on God;
he is my strong protector;
he is my shelter.
8 Trust in God at all times, my people.
Tell him all your troubles,
for he is our refuge.
9 Human beings are all like a puff of breath;
great and small alike are worthless.
Put them on the scales, and they weigh nothing;
they are lighter than a mere breath.
10 Don’t put your trust in violence;
don’t hope to gain anything by robbery;
even if your riches increase,
don’t depend on them.
11 More than once I have heard God say
that power belongs to him
12 and that his love is constant.
You yourself, O Lord, reward everyone according to their deeds.
