PMP Prayer Request

As the Presbytery of Forth Valley and Clydesdale meet today, 27th April 2024, to discuss and accept the draft presbytery mission plan we invite you to pray with us.

Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer. Romans 12:12

Prayer points:

  • Prayer for the Holy Spirit’s leading and guidance for the way ahead: asking for God’s mercy, forgiveness, strength, and hope for the future of our church. Praying for God’s kingdom to come.
  • Prayer for wisdom, vision, and energy; for the Mission Plan Action Group, and for our Presbytery Mission Plan. Asking for God’s help, courage, and strength to let go and lay down what must end and take hold of and lift up new ways of thinking and being church.
  • Prayer that God will reveal how we can connect with people beyond our existing congregations and share the good news of Jesus. Help us to find ways to enable those who have vision, gifts, and ideas to be encouraged to serve across the church.
  • Amen.
