As the Church of Scotland in Bellshill we extend a warm welcome to any of our activities. People have been coming to this building to worship God for over a hundred years. While our town has journeyed through many changes over those years, the constancy of the witness of the “Church at 346 Main Street” has remained uninterrupted. The mission of any Church is to reflect through its presence, its music, its fellowship and its beauty the greatness of God, and we seek to do that here in all that we share.
We hope that everyone who enters these doors will find an encouraging, friendly group of people. While we are far from perfect, we are regularly discovering truths that are changing us individually and enriching our lives as a church community. As we worship together, learn from the Bible, and pray for one another, we are strengthened in our commitment to Jesus Christ as well as to each other. If this is your first time here, we welcome you, and invite you to share the joy that we have found.
Prayer for Strength Against Satan “God, please protect me, my friends and my family against the realities of spiritual warfare today. Keep us safe from unnecessary battles, and give us the strength and courage to boldly fight where You are asking us to fight. Help us to cling to Your Word and Your truth. Help us persevere until the end. I put my trust in You today, God.”
We meet early at 9am in the Church grounds/garden. Our prayer group leads us in a short outdoor service, followed by breakfast in the hall. Please bring along some fresh flowers/daffodils to decorate the Flowering Cross.
Revd Jim Zambonini leads our 11am family service in the church. The service will include communion and the flowering cross.

Prayer for an End to Suffering “God, the Bible tells us in Psalm 34:18 that You are near to the brokenhearted. Please be near to all those who are suffering today, Lord. Bring healing and relief where You want to bring healing and bring strength and courage to those whom You have decided in Your wisdom need to wait a bit longer. Thank You for all You are doing that we aren’t even aware of. Help me to always trust Your way is best.”
