Valentine’s messages

In the run up to Valentine’s Day, this year on Sunday 14th February, we are inviting the folks of Bellshill and Mossend to share some Love by adding a romantic heart, flower or message to our church railings.

Tie a lovers knot to the railing to show your love for your husband, wife, partner, boyfriend or girlfriend

Look out for information appearing with messages of love from the Bible.

Find out who St Valentine was? And why we come to celebrate St Valentines day each year.

Lent prayer group

Lent is a period of reflection and renewal.

The purpose of Lent is to be a season of fasting, self-denial, Christian growth, penitence, conversion, and simplicity.

Lent, which comes from the Teutonic (Germanic) word for springtime, can be viewed as a spiritual spring cleaning: a time for taking spiritual inventory and then cleaning out those things which hinder our corporate and personal relationships with Jesus Christ and our service to him.

Would you be interested in a weekly Lenten prayer group?

We’d meet via zoom.

Day and time to be organised at a mutually convenient time.

If you’re interested please email bellshillcentral@gmail.com
