Remembrance Day – Unfortunately, we won’t be able to meet in person this year to reflect and remember as we usually would.
However, we would like your help to create a Remembrance display on our front railings, to either side of the gates.
One idea is to crochet a Remembrance poppy and affix it to the railings – just like the ones in the video below. However, any item that signifies Remembrance is welcome.
Just add to the display anytime from 2nd November onwards. You don’t need to be an arty person to take part, you can just simply buy something for our remembrance display. Or add a laminated verse or a name.

Betty’s funeral will be at Holytown Crematorium at 11.30am on Thursday 22nd October.
Unfortunately due to the current restrictions we are only allowed 20 people at the service
The funeral cars will be passing Bellshill Central Parish Church around 11.15am for anyone wishing to pay their last respects.
To keep everyone safe please if you are gathering outside our church please observe all social distancing guidelines and measures. Betty would want her friends to stay safe.
However, the staff at Holytown will be steaming the service online for anyone who wishes to join us virtually. The link for the service will be made available as soon as its organised.
we ask you uphold jim, Jane and Laura in your prayers as they mourn a wife and mum. Remember the wider family who have lost such an irreplaceable mum-in-law and gran.
