A funeral service for the late Rena Girdwood takes place within Bellshill Central Parish Church on Wednesday 10th January 2018 at 11.00am.

This coming Sunday’s service, Sunday 7th January 2018, is at 11.00am when our Minister, Rev’d Kevin de Beer, leads us in morning worship for All Ages when we think on the Epiphany.   Hymns include O worship the King, Lord the light of your love, Beautiful Saviour and As with gladness men of old.  The readings will be from Psalm 72:1-7 and 10-14, Ephesians 3:1-12 and Matthew 2: 1-12.  This is also the 1st Sunday of the Month – as well as the first of 2018 – and as such we serve tea/coffee and refreshments in the hall after the service to which all are encouraged to come through for.  Crèche facilities are available every Sunday for the youngest of Children.   We would be delighted to welcome you. Let us build a house where all can dwell – All are welcome in this place!

WE WANT TO THANK EVERYONE WHO GAVE SO GENEROUSLY TO OUR OFFERINGS ON CHRISTMAS EVE, WHEN OVER £300 WAS RAISED AND GIFTED TO THE CRAIGHALBERT CENTRE.  THANK YOU ALL MOST SINCERELY.

CHURCH CD ON SALE

 

Bellshill Central Parish Church is pleased to continue promoting our church CD, featuring what is arguably one of Lanarkshire’s finest pipe organs.  The CD was produced for Christmas and has a some Christmas themed items, but would make an ideal early Christmas present for 2018!!!  It’s ideal for anyone with a church connection, or who loves choral and organ music.

The CDs are only £5 each – a real bargain –  for an original and collectable collection of music.

They are on sale each Sunday before or after worship. If you wish to reserve a copy, would like to order one for postal delivery or ask any questions please do get in touch – either through the contact button on the website or via our Facebook page.

Our prayer book continues to be available in the main vestibule of the church. We offer prayer for those asking for specific people and circumstances each week during worship. We are a Parish Church and are here for you in times of joy and sadness. Our minister, Rev Kevin de Beer, is available to the local community to offer spiritual support or to simply offer prayer. Our minister, Revd Kevin December Beer, continues in his weekly live “Word on Wednesday” via Facebook. These involve a short 5-10 minute reflection, bible passage and prayer. We’d encourage you to look us up (Kevin De Beer and Bellshill Central Parish Church) to keep up to date. Kevin launched his “First Steps” book. Please look this up on Amazon, or contact Kevin for a copy as we hope to spread the Gospel message that little bit further in Bellshill and Mossend. Look up the hashtag #wordonwednesday 

ADVANCE DATE FOR YOUR DIARY

Sunday 21st January at 6.30pm in Dalziel St Andrew’s the joint choirs or Bellshill Central and Dalziel St Andrews Churches will help lead a service in the week of prayer for Christian unity.   This is jointly run with the Lanarkshire Society of Organists and a donation will be taken to support St Andrew’s Hospice.  Please mark the date in your diary and come along!

COMMUNITY HALLS AVAILABLE FOR USE 

Our hall and facilities are available at other times during the week and are available to be hired for one-off occasions or longer term lets. Please get in touch with us if you need a space to hire. We have now installed Wi-Fi which means we can offer facilities for online events taking place in the church and halls.
