Funeral Arrangements for Mr Andrew Miller

It is with sadness that we announce the death of one of our members, Mr Andrew Miller. We add the family, friends, and wider circle of friends to our thoughts and prayers.

From the family:

We are devastated to share the loss of our beloved dad, Andy Miller. We know he was well known and well thought of in Bellshill, from his standing at the school gates every day at Mossend Primary and from being in the Post Office cafe and Coral on the Main Street. For anyone who would like to attend the funeral, the details are as follows:
Tuesday the 23rd April, 2.30 pm at Holytown Crematorium and there after to the Imperial Club Bellshill.

ECCLESIASTES 3:1-4
There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens: a time to be born and a time to die, a time to plant and a time to uproot, a time to kill and a time to heal, a time to tear down and a time to build, a time to weep and a time to laugh, a time to mourn and a time to dance…

Thank you to everyone who participated in our two Easter services. Our garden service was thoughtful and reflective and led by our Church Prayer group. We began to decorate the easter cross. We then shared in breakfast in the hall afterwards, before our 11am All Age Service got underway. The Easter Cross was decorated further as other worshippers came along.

HOLY WEEK SERVICES and events we’re held in the church but of particular note was the showing of the 1973 film ‘Jesus Christ Superstar’ and our Maundy Thursday Communion led by Rev Margaret Rose,  BD.

The Communion service was intimate and meaningful. The film allowed those present to relive the events of the passion.
