Sunday 2nd January 2022 worship with BCPC

Happy New Year!

We warmly welcome you and invite you to our 1st service of 2022 tomorrow at 11am in person at Bellshill Central Parish Church

The service will be live streamed via

www.facebook.com/bellshillchurch/videos from around 10.45am if you are unable, or don’t feel ready, to visit in person

Our minister Revd Kevin de Beer leads our worship

The readings are Galatians 4:1-7 and Matthew 1:18-25

We have lovely hymns chosen, and even though the words might be unfamiliar the tunes are well known.

Our order of service with details of the hymns and call to worship and church news can be downloaded here

If the live stream fails (fingers crossed all works ok) the service is recorded and uploaded later on Sunday to our YouTube channel.

If you are coming in person it would be great if you let us know ahead of Sunday morning by emailing bookings@bellshillcentral.church so we can prepare the track and trace lists,

which means there is less queues at the front door.

Covid safety measures at Bellshill Central Parish Church

We are acutely aware that there is more news emerging about the Covid 19 Omicron varient and this is becoming more concerning.

We wanted to remind those attending church of the basic rules we have in place to ensure we keep each other safe.

It is advised by the Scottish Government that we should take Lateral Flow tests if we are going to public places. You can get these from any local pharmacist, test centre or by ordering online.

Wearing facemasks in church is mandatory, unless you are exempt under the Scottish Government guidance. You MUST remain at least 1 metre physically distanced from each other unless you are part of a household group or bubble. You must sanitise your hands on entry and exit. We will take your details for NHS test and Protect.

However, even with these restrictions everyone should be able to comfortably attend church and so it is recommend that you stay in household groups within the church. There are plenty of pews at BCPC so this will ensure that there’s socially distanced seating available for anyone who wishes to maintain a social
distance from others.

Thank you for your cooperation in keeping BCPC a safe space helping to keep you safe.
