The next service within Bellshill Central Parish Church is on Sunday 6 August 2017 led by Rev de Beer at 11am. Kevin’s theme is “I feel like I am from another planet”. The bible readings are taken from Psalm 22:1-11 and 22-28 and Matthew 6:25-34. Our hymns include ‘Seek ye first the Kingdom of God’, ‘Lord for the years’ and ‘Be still for the Presence of the Lord’. A summer choir practice will take place at 10am within the Church hall for anyone taking part. Activities for Children and Young Adults activities will be available during the service. Tea and coffee are served after the service. We would be delighted to welcome you in the LORD’s name. If you are a visitor to our church, do make yourself known to one of the welcome team. Our monthly tea and coffee takes place after the service on 6th August and all are cordially invited to stay behind for refreshments and fellowship.

We are a Parish Church and are here for you in times of joy and sadness. Our minister, Rev Kevin de Beer, is available to the local community to offer spiritual support or to simply offer prayer. Each week in our Sunday Service we offer prayers for those needing to be remembered. SPONSORED PARISH WALK AND RUN – Our organist is organizing a sponsored event on Sunday 20th August straight after the morning service. A four-mile route through the parish of Bellshill: Central has been chosen and you can walk or run the route. Sponsor forms are available from the church, from Alan Mathew or get in touch online or by email. Teas/coffees will be served in the hall after the morning service for those not taking part but who wish to welcome back our intrepid explorers! This is an excellent way to keep fit and to let people know we are folks of Bellshill Central Parish Church.
SUMMER FUNDRAISER – Church members are taking part in the £2 summer fund raiser scheme again, making £2 grow for the church. Look out for various things taking place – such as coffee mornings, car washes, sponsored runs etc. AS well as being a good source of funds for our ongoing work these ideas always end up being great social and fellowship events to which all are welcome. Our weekly organisations are looking forward to resuming the fun, activities and friendship in August and the new sessions. Church Choir resumes in a few weeks on Friday 18th August at 7.30pm in the Church.
We are pleased to welcome back Music Movers and Shakers to our hall on Wednesdays from 10am-12pm. Friday 8th September our Annual Church Quiz takes place under the watchful eye of Quizmaster HUGH AINSLEY. Tickets are on sale at £5 each. Players are invited to come along in teams (inventive names are a MUST!). The usual rounds will take place – Sport, TV, Films, Music and much more! We invite our Friends from St Andrew’s, West, EU churches and other local churches to come along too.
Sunday 10th September 2017 at 11 o’clock – Holy Communion with a retiring offering for the Moira Anderson Foundation (a National Charity dedicated to supporting those affected by childhood sexual abuse. They support children and adults of both genders in whatever way they can).
Tuesday 12th September – board and session meetings at 7.30pm.
Monday 2nd October – Church Guild resumes at 7.30pm with a rededication and communion service. Open to both men and women.
Our hall and facilities are available at other times during the week and are available to be hired for one off occasions or longer term lets. Please get in touch with us if you need a space to hire. We have now installed Wi-Fi which means we can offer facilities for online events taking place in the church and halls.
