At Bellshill Central Parish Church, you will find a warm welcome from a group of faithful and joyous Christian people. You will find worship services each week that incorporate a blend of both the traditional and the new, with passionate preaching that tries hard to make the Scripture message relevant to our daily living. If you want a Church that is Central to Christ, Central to you and Central to Bellshill then look no further. We would be delighted to welcome you. Let us build a house where all can dwell – All are welcome in this place!
The next service within Bellshill Central Parish Church is on Sunday 1st October 2017 led by Rev de Beer at 11am. This is our Annual Harvest Service, where we give thanks for all of God’s gifts and His marvellous creation. After the service we have our annual Harvest Lunch. Tickets are on sale now from Jane or Lesley from our Fundraising Team.
In our services we continue an exploration of the gift that is the elderly. The Bible offers many insights into the gift that is ‘maturing years’. We explore some of these gifts as we move toward November, which proves a month of Remembrance.
The theme is “BEFORE THE STARS GO DARK” and our bible readings are Ecclesiastes 11:7-12:13 and Revelation 2:1-7. Our sung worship lead by our choir and our enthusiastic congregation will include For the beauty of the earth, Ten Thousand Reasons by Matt Redmond, O for a closer walk with God and Lord of all hopefulness. Our choir sings an Anthem – Look at the Earth by the popular composer John Rutter. Activities for Children and Young Adults activities will be available during the service.
We would be delighted to welcome you in the LORD’s name. If you are a visitor to our church, do make yourself known to one of the welcome team. We are a warm and welcoming church at the heart of our town — Central Church is Central to Bellshill, Central to Christ and Central to YOU!
We Live Stream our Sunday Services via our YouTube Channel – please join our online congregation from 11am if you are not able to come to church and worship with us online. Click here to visit

If there is something that you think your local church could be doing to offer services and/or support to our local community please get in touch via the Minister, Session Clerk, Facebook or website – Our church email address is firstname.lastname@example.org
Our minister, Revd Kevin December Beer, has started a weekly live “Word on Wednesday” via Facebook. These involve a short 5-10 minute reflection, bible passage and prayer. His broadcasts have continued to receive over 3000 views and was shared by the national Church of Scotland Facebook page, and numerous local churches including our friends at Holy Family Mossend. We’d encourage you to look us up (Kevin De Beer and Bellshill Central Parish Church) to keep up to date. Kevin has also launched his “First Steps” book and we would encourage you to look this up on Amazon, or contact Kevin for a copy as we hope to spread the Gospel message that little bit further in Bellshill and Mossend. Look up the hashtag #wordonwednesday
Our weekly organisations are looking forward to resuming the fun, activities and friendship in August and the new sessions. Please check out our Facebook, our website for full details.
