kingdom-of-god2Sunday 17th June 2018 – Sunday Service takes place at 11.00am, with Rev’d Kevin de Beer leading worship which includes the Sacrament of Baptism, with something suitable for All-ages. This month of June is where we are refreshed in a basic understanding of the Christian Faith. We turn to a few themes that help us explore the wealth that is our ‘Faith in the modern world’.

This Sunday we focus on ‘THE KINGDOM OF GOD’ with bible readings taken from Isaiah 65:17-25 and Mark 1:9-20. Hymns include ‘Our children Lord in faith and prayer’, ‘Lord you have come to the seashore’ and ‘O Jesus I have promised’. Sunday School/Young Church and Crèche facilities are available each week.

Grateful thanks are extended to our wonderful Fund Raising team who put on a splendid afternoon tea in the hall on 9th June. Central bakers outdone themselves with the vast array of goodies and treats! The final amount raised for Church Funds has still to be finalised, but will be available next week. Likewise, a massive thank you to all who supported our Big Sing in aid of St Andrew’s Hospice, that took place on 10th June. Special thanks to Alan Mathew, organist, Hugh Ainsley, compere, and those who provided refreshments afterwards.
