What’s on at Central this week, 20th June 2018?

If you’re looking for a church that is Central to Christ, Central to you and Central to Bellshill – then look no further! Here you will find a church and a people with a real heart and soul for worship, who enjoy fellowship and socialising throughout the week. We’re on a journey together, come and join us.

Sunday 24th June 2018 – Sunday Service takes place at 11.00am, with Rev’d Kevin de Beer leading worship which is an All Age Church Family Service – suitable for all ages. This month of June is where we are refreshed in a basic understanding of the Christian Faith. We turn to a few themes that help us explore the wealth that is our ‘Faith in the modern world’.

This Sunday we focus on ‘the CROSS’ with bible readings taken from Leviticus 16:1-10 and Romans 5:1-11 . The youngsters from Young Church will take an active part this week, reading the bible lessons, helping the duty team and in leading the prayers. The young folk will receive prizes and awards for their attendance at our Young Church activities throughout the year. Hymns include choruses suited for all age worship, including ‘Gods love is the best love’, ‘Our God is a great big God’, ‘Deep and Wide’, more traditional hymns of ‘On a Hill Far away’ and ‘And can it be’. Sunday School/Young Church and Crèche facilities are available each week. Straight after the service please do join in a Church Family BBQ in the Hall and Outside spaces. Everyone is invited to take part.

Our recent Strawberry Themed tea and fayre has raised an amazing £509 for church funds. Grateful thanks to everyone who helped and contributed.

The Big Sing held last week for St. Andrew’s Hospice raised over £450 for the hospice in Airdrie. Grateful thanks for supporting such a worthy local charity.
