There’s something special about the bond we share with our animals. They bring us companionship, comfort, joy and, quite often, a great deal of laughter! 🐶🐱🐰🐹
At Bellshill Central Parish Church, we’re delighted to welcome people and their beloved pets to our Annual Pet Service on Sunday 4th October at 3pm.
This is a relaxed and joyful service celebrating the wonderful animals who are part of our families, while giving thanks to God for the whole of creation.
Whether you have a dog, cat, rabbit, guinea pig, hamster — or something a little more unusual — everyone is welcome!
🐾 What to expect
Our Pet Service will include:
- Prayers of thanksgiving for our animals
- Bible readings and reflections
- Music and plenty of joy
- An opportunity to have your pet blessed
- A chance to remember and give thanks for animals who are no longer with us
And, of course, there will be plenty of wagging tails, curious noses and happy faces!
Pets must bring their humans! 😄
So, mark your diary, grab the lead, carrier or favourite pet blanket, and come along for an afternoon celebrating the animals we love.
