Bellshill Central Parish Church will be joining congregations across the Church of Scotland for a special Day of Prayer, seeking the light of Jesus to transform our Church, our communities in Scotland and the wider world.
On the afternoon of Saturday 31st October, our Trustee Elders will come together with Rev. Muriel Pearson, Interim Minister, to pray for our church and the wider Legbrannock Cluster, using three specific prayer points for each of the five churches involved in the proposed union.
Our website includes a link to the Day of Prayer materials, including the prayer pointers from across the Legbrannock Cluster.
There are also opportunities for everyone to join in prayer online:
🕚 11am – A live-streamed Day of Prayer service from West Kilbride Parish Church.
🕓 4pm – An online time of shared prayer led by Rev. Scott McRoberts and Rt. Rev. Gordon Kennedy, Moderator of the General Assembly of the Church of Scotland. Registration is free and open to all.
Let us join together in prayer, asking that we may be a Light in the Darkness, sharing the hope and love of Jesus in our church, our communities and beyond.
