As it is the 1st Sunday of the Month, we join together in the Hall over tea, coffee and some biscuits.  Of course, the best thing about our tea/Coffee is the fellowship.   That time set aside to catch up with folks, share some news and check in with someone.   Please stay behind after the service.

Throughout the Week of Prayer for Christian Unity we held daily 1/2 hour services in the Church in the East Aisle and were lead by various folks from our church and from around Bellshill.   Thank you to Rev Kevin de Beer, Peggy Walker, Jim Bryden from the Salvation army, Addie Girvan from St. Gerard’s and Alan Mathew.  Over the week some 80 people came through our doors to share fellowship, God’s Word and to pray together.  We are indeed blessed that there is the need and want to pray.  If you would like to be part of a more organised prayer group/circle please let us know.

Last Sunday, we had a lovely Burn’s Lunch.  We want to thank the fund raising and social team for their tremendous hard work, and the extra helpers who played their part.  Thank you especially to our Fund raising ‘gaffer’ Jane Aitken for keeping her expert eye on all the various parts to make it a wonderful get together.
