Then, right after this we have Songs of Praise on the Big screen at 1.15pm back in the church. Keep an eye out for some of Bellshill’s Best Choir who took part in some filming from Glasgow Cathedral.

For 143 years the “Church at 346 Main Street” has been a constant presence working in our community, we extend a warm welcome to any of our activities. Our message for these 143 years has been that God cares about you and that you matter! While our town has journeyed through many changes over those years, the constancy of the witness of the “Church at 346 Main Street” has remained uninterrupted. The mission of any Church is to reflect through its presence, its music, its fellowship and its beauty the greatness of God, and we seek to do that here in all that we share.

We hope that everyone who enters these doors will find an encouraging, friendly group of people. While we are far from perfect, we are regularly discovering truths that are changing us individually and enriching our lives as a church community. As we worship together, learn from the Bible, and pray for one another, we are strengthened in our commitment to Jesus Christ as well as to each other. If this is your first time here, we welcome you, and invite you to share the joy that we have found.

Although our official young church session comes to an end this weekend, informal activities for children and young folks are available each Sunday during our summer services. You are welcome to come along to church, and either gather in the front pews or in the hall – wherever you feel most comfortable.

Funeral service for Betty Patrick

It is with deep regret and sadness we ask you to remember in prayer the family and friends of the late Betty Patrick whose funeral service will take place on Friday 14th June at 3.00pm within the Linn Crematorium, Glasgow.

We particularly remember the immediate family, Susan and Craig, Stuart and Susan, Sarah, Catriona, Isla and Iona.

God of love and mercy, embrace all those whose hearts today overflow with grief, unanswered questions and such a sense of loss. Grant them space to express their tears. Hold them close through the coming days.

Jesus, You said, “Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted” I am mourning; send me Your comfort now. Wrap around Your arms around me and hold me tight. Send angels of mercy to me. Shower Your comfort on me through those around me, and keep far from me those whose words and actions are no comfort.
