Funeral Service for Jack Scott

Our thoughts and prayers are with the family and friends of Jack Scott at this sad and tragic time, a local 14yr old who tragically passed away on Tuesday 14th June.

Jack was a pupil at Bellshill Academy and Head Teacher, Anne Munro, said “Our entire school community is very shocked and saddened by the sudden death of one of our pupils.”

A funeral service for Jack will be held in Bellshill Central Parish Church on Wednesday 22nd June 2016 at 11am.

This will be a very busy service, so we urge people to plan ahead for travel purposes and parking.  The service will be conducted by Rev Kevin de Beer, minister of Bellshill Central and a chaplain of Bellshill Academy.

There is no right or wrong way to grieve, everyone does it differently.  As followers and believers in Christ, we turn to God’s Word to find strength and comfort as we grieve.

Psalm 23:4 “Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.”

Matthew 5:4 “Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted”
